The Vigil
The Vigil – a 10 minute dramatic performance.
A woman on a mission to talk to us enters the room. She is smart and articulate and wants to talk about risk-taking; she appeals to us all to relax a bit, she suggests that life should be more dangerous and fun. As her ponderings continue we realise that this woman herself is the accident waiting to happen, personified as a woman. She ends with “I am in wait, all night, all day, one slip and I’ll be there… I’ll always leave it to you to choose the moment.”
